PROFILING DEVICE OF PERIPHERAL SURFACE OF PIPE OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To utilize a device for inspection of ultrasonic detection or the like, by performing zigzag running of a testing equipment while moving a guide roll properly along the axial line of a pipe to surely enable the profiling throughout a wide range on the peripheral surface of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A lifter bed comprises the first lifter bed 3 liftably operated by the first lifting means 4, the second lifter member 5 liftably operated by the second lifting means 6 and the third lifter bed 10 vertically adjustable with fine movement. A guide roll 7 provided to the bottom end of the second lifting member 5 can be rolled on the axial line of a pipe while being contacted with a peripheral surface of the pipe in accordance with axially directional movement of the pipe and vertically moved together with the member 5 by the means 6. An equipment mounting tool 11 is fixed to the bottom part of the bed 10 with a distance kept from the peripheral surface of the pipe, further a various equipment 14 for inspection of a bead part in ultrasonic detection is mounted to the bottom end part of the tool 11 with a fixed distance kept from the pipe P.
