MANUFACTURE OF MOVING BLADE IN AXIAL FLOW ROTARY MACHINE

PURPOSE:To both easily manufacture the captioned rotary blade and increase strength without cutting of a reinforced fiber, by laminating plural prepreg sheets, incorporating a wedge to a base end part of the sheets to compressively mold the sheets and performing machine work after the sheets are hardened. CONSTITUTION:A reinforced plastic prepreg sheet 1 reinforced in one direction is formed to a rectangular shape and laminated to a prescribed number of sheets to obtain a laminated prepreg 2. While an external mold 3 and internal mold 4 having the same curved surface as the camber surface of a product and a triangular sectional wedge 5 in length W are prepared. Then the prepreg 2 is interposed between the both molds 3, 4 after the wedge 5 is interposed to the base end part of the sheet, retainer plates 5 are arranged to four sides, and the prepreg is housed in an autoclave and heated. In this way, the prepreg 2 is compressively molded, after being hardened, the molds 3, 4 are removed to obtain a half-finished product 7. And then this product 7 is finished by a machine tool to prescribed dimensions to obtain a desired product 8.
