CONTROL AGENT AGAINST RESISTANT GREEN RICE LEAFHOPPER

摘要

PURPOSE:To titled control agent prepared by mixing phosdiphen with 3-methylphenyl N-methylcarbamate. CONSTITUTION:A control agent against a resistant green rice leafhopper, comprising a mixture of 0-ethyl 0,0-di(2,4-dichlorophenyl)phosphate (hereafter referred to as phosdiphen) with 3-methylphenyl N-methylcarbamate (hereafter referred to as MTMC) as the active constituents. MTMC has an insufficient insecticidal effect against a resistant green rice leafhopper, though excellently effective against a sensitive green rice leafhopper. The mixture of MTMC with phosdiphen which is a control agent against rice blast without an insecticidal activity has a high control effect against a resistanct green rice leafhopper which cannot be easily controlled and occurs due to the continuous use of N-methylcarbamate insecticides, and is also effective against injurious insects such as a smaller brown planthopper, a brown planthopper and pentatomids and rice blast.
