PURPOSE:To eliminate the running-short of a liquid in a column body and attain gas-liquid contact by a mechanism wherein liquid spargers are provided to the column body, and the liquid is supplied to the liquid spargers when a barge tilts, in the titled device treating oceanic resources, such as natural gas, etc. on the sea. CONSTITUTION:Intermediate liquid spargers 26, 28 are fitted to the side portions of a packed column body 12. These liquid spargers 26, 28 are each connected to an intermediate portion liquid feed quantity regulating valve 34. The regulating valve 34 is connected to a liquid feed source while supplying a liquid to the liquid spargers 26, 28 by the control signals of a clinometer 36 installed aboard the barge. According to this constitution when the packed column 12 rocks in response to a tilt of a barge deck 10, the regulating valve 34 feeds the liquid to the liquid sparger 28 because the clinometer 36 supplies the control signals to the valve 34. Thus, the liquid is jetted and supplied into the packed column body 12, a liquid running-short portion is eliminated, and gas positively contact with the liquid and is exhausted from a gas outlet.
