STOPPER FOR PREVENTING FALLING OF BILLET FROM BILLET CONVEYANCE DOLLY

PURPOSE:To permit billets to be transferred onto the succeeding receiving table etc. without installing a lifter onto a conveyance dolly by permitting a stopper for preventing falling of billets to be pushed-down by a cam installed at the dolly stop position. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 1 for preventing falling of billets 6 during the time when a conveyance dolly 5 for conveying the billets 6 having a circular section travels is formed in an elvator type movable stopper, and the stopper 1 is pushed-down, at the traveling end of the dolly 5, through the utilization of the traveling force of the dolly 5 and a cam 7 fixed on a receiving table 8 side so that billets 6 can be conveyed. During traveling, the stopper 1 is pushed-up the force of a spring 3, and falling of the billets 6 can be prevented. Consequently, the manufacturing cost can be reduced by a large margin, because the necessity for installing a lifter onto the dolly 5 is obviated, and the motive power supply such as hydraulic and electric power is unnecessary for the stopper 1.
