PURPOSE:To prepare a sample easily, and to prevent it from being broken easily even if development bending of a bending part is executed repeatedly, by manually cutting a development pattern of a press product out of a cuttable metallic plate, and after that, executing its secondary working. CONSTITUTION:A paper piece 8 on which a development plan of a desired press product C has been drawn is stuck on the upper surface of a lead plate 9 through an adhesive agent, and the lower surface of the lead plate 9 is fixed onto the upper surface of a wooden piece 10 by an adhesive agent, etc. Subsequently, an engraving knife 11 is manually moved along the development plan, the paper piece 8 and the lead plate 9 are cut, and after that, the paper piece 8 on the lead plate is removed, and also the lead plate is removed from the wooden piece 10. In this way, a lead plate having a shape which had developed the product C is obtained. When a prescribed projecting piece of the lead plate is bent suitably, a lead sample having the same shape as the product C is completed.
