PURPOSE:To obtain a small high capacity economical apparatus, by a method wherein an exhaust gas is subjected to dry treatment by a dust collecting, denitrating and desulfurizing apparatus equipped with a soot dust charging apparatus, a denitrating part and a desulfurizing part; a catalyst and the gas are recirculated to be reused. CONSTITUTION:A dust collecting, denitrating and desulfurizing apparatus is constructed of a soot dust charging apparatus A, a denitrating part N comprising a charged layer B filled with an ammonia catalyst reduction catalyst with a small particle size having a discharge electrode carrying out the charging of soot dust passing through said apparatus A and the polarization of the catalyst and a desulfurizing part S consisting of charging layers D1, D2 filled with ammonia catalytic reduction catalyst with a small particle size equipped with layers C1, C2 packed with activated cool and a discharge electrode. In addition, a system E for regenerating and recirculating the used and a gas recirculation system F when the heat held by the catalyst is utilizied the heat decomposition of activated carbon, are provided. As described above, since the dust collection, the denitration and the desulfurization of an exhaust gas are carried out entirely in a dry system, the apparatus can be miniaturized and economical treatment with good capacity is carried out.
