PURPOSE:To stabilize the capacity of driving by arranging the downstream part of a gas cooler of a reformed gas pipe via a passage of engine cooling water for exchanging the heat of the reformed gas supercooled by the gas cooler with the cooling water for maintaining at a proper temperature. CONSTITUTION:Reformed gas issued from an alcohol-reformer 23 and flowing in a reformed gas pipe 24 is conducted through the inner pipe of a gas cooler 26 for exchanging heat with alcohol, and cooled. Since the alcohol flowing in the gas cooler 26 is previously heated by engine cooling water, the temperature of the reformed gas is free from extreme lowering. When the reformed gas is supercooled, it is conducted through a water jacket 27, and heated by the heat- exchanging with the engine cooling water. After being sufficiently evaporated again, it is supplied to an engine 21.
