Centrifugal infusion is used to produce the beverage in a shorter time. An electric motor driven table rotates at between 4,000 and 6,000 RPM. Its upper face has centring cavity for the container placed on it to contain the loose coffee or tea. An electric resistance heater supplied hot water which is allowed to fall into the centre of the bulk tea or coffee, and is then forced outwards through the tea or coffee by centripetal force. The infused beverage is collected in a chamber which is electrically heated, and passes out from a spout.
