The grass cutter for golf courses has a set of four conically shaped rotary cutters at the front, and a belt conveyor which discharges the cut grass from the rear. The cutters (6-9) are in pairs, with two outer cutters a short distance in advance of the two inner cutters, supported by a frame which can be raised and lowered hydraulically. The conveyor uses two parallel belts (24,25) forming a low level collector at the front, connected by an upwardly sloping part to a horizontal high level discharge part at the rear.
