1-Azolyl-2-oximinobutane derivatives of the formula IMAGE in which A is nitrogen or CH, R1 is hydrogen, alkyl, halogenoalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, or optionally substituted benzyl, phenyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl or cycloalkenyl, and R2 is optionally substituted phenyl, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenylsulphinyl or phenylsulphonyl, or physiologically acceptable addition products thereof with acids or metal salts, which possess fungicidal and plant growth-regulating activities.
