METHOD FOR VEGETATIVE PROPAGATING PLANTS OF WOODY STALK PARTICULARLY VINE

The procedure is for the continuous planting of plants with woody stems, especially vines. To prepare the vines the propagating parts are pieced to the precise amount on an automated piecing machine. The vines are then arranged in classes by a device which sorts according to dia. After pairing off the same classes of root stocks and grape bearing parts as shoots, grafting takes place on the grafting apparatus. The propagating parts are shrunk at given spacings between the foil strips after which the foil strips on the stems are wound in coils on which the bales are formed.
