1.    A process of preparing sintered iron-baas frontload materials characterized by the inclusion of boron nitrite there in a definite proportion to enhance the wear resist-. atone properties of the said sintered iron base friction materials, comprising mixing powders of copper, tin, bariums soleplate, graphite, glassceraxic, boron nitride and lead in the following proportion by Wight Copper                 1,5 to 3.0 Tin                    1.0 to 2.O berries sulphate          4.0 to 8.O graphite               1.0 to 8.0 boron nitride           0.9 to 4,0 glaeeoeraalo            1.0 to 5.0 lead                   10,0 to 20.0 the balance being iron, stirring the mixture of powder in a mixer in the presence of a neutral liquid being mineral oil, pressing the slurry forested in a press would, sintering the resulting artieles in a shaft furnace and simultaneously fritting the same to a steel base under pressure and at an elevated temperatures of 1030.c for predetermined time.
