The tensioning anchor is intended for a concrete pre-stressing cable consisting of cable strands contained in a tube (17). It comprises an anchoring plate (1) with circumferentially spaced bores (5) for strand anchoring elements, and a bush assembly (4) connected to the tube and diverging towards the plate. This assembly is at a distance from the plate and is provided with a smaller-diameter disc (3) facing this plate which has corresponding bores (7) on a smaller pitch circle. Respective bores (5,7) are connected via tubes (e.g. in adapters 6) which are outwardly bent relative to the lines connecting the bore (5,7) centres and each receive a cable strand.
