Shoe binding sole foot support - is on heel part of outer sole and extends to toe part which is left free to bend upwards

Shoe has an outer sole of elastic material esp. foamed polyurehtane. This provides resilience to dampen impact loads (in walking). On this sole there is an insole of a more rigid material e.g. a wood laminate. This is shaped to support the foot. The part of the insole which supports the foot extends from the toe to the heel of the outer side but is free to bend upwards. Provides shoe which is able to bend when one goes up on ones toes. (Provisional Basic previously advised in Week K19).
