This invention concerns a sorbent mixture for a sorbent suspension reciprocating dialyzer comprising a surface adsorptive agent capable of adsorption of uremic substances, a cation exchanger, urease, an aliphatic carboxylic acid resin in the H+ form, water and a suspending agent.
