Weapon for launching arrow projectile - has internally grooved tube with muzzle brake and arrow-guiding shoes engaging grooves

The arrow-like projectile is guided in a weapon tube (16) by a multi-part shoe. The shoe imparts to the arrow all the rotation effects given to it by grooves in the tube. The tube is lightly grooved to soften the effects of centrifugal force on the shoe parts. The tube has a muzzle brake (20) fitted with holes (18). The inside dia. of the brake is near the calibre of the tube. The number of brake holes is a multiple or sub multiple of the shoe parts.
