摘要
An installation which consists of a series of devices which, from a selected control point, are brought into an operating condition, which results in all the cash and other valuables and objects located on the counter of the cashier or cashiers being immediately and automatically slid, by means of tilting and/or opening of the counter, into a receiving deposit which may be a metal box which is in the lower part of the counter which, in turn, once it has received the valuables and objects, is also automatically taken by a suitable mechanism to an armoured housing from which it cannot be removed. The mechanism is self-locking, i.e. once its transition to the operating condition has been initiated, it cannot be stopped or reversed in its movement thanks to the existence of a ratchet device, hidden behind a second armoured housing, to which it is possible to gain access, in order to unlock it, only after a series of metal covers provided with the greatest possible number of screws has been removed, so that an excessively long period of time is taken in order to be able to remove them. In this way, it is not possible to coerce the bank staff to use keys and/or combinations to open the housing where the armoured housing which contains them is located. The installation is also provided with means which allow normal operation of the counters and drawers in their non-operational condition. Selectively, the system may also include an extension capable of sliding an inner door in the vault of the bank or the like, such that, although the manager or another official is obliged to use the combination in order to open the door of the vault, the second door, which bears the respective self- locking mechanism, prevents passage to the interior of the vault. Naturally, the ratchet and the unlocking means are located behind screwed-down covers or casings identical to those provided on the counters, for the same purpose.
