Abstract of the DisclosureThe invention relates to a process for thermally stabilis-ing and improving the dimensional stability of soft gelatincapsules containing the pharmaceutical active principle inthe shell, characterized in that the capsules are providedwith a film coating of a film-forming polymer which is sol-uble or swellable in water and soluble in solvent.The properties of soft gelatin capsules are improved whilstthe other advantageous properties are maintained. The coat-ed gelatin capsules are, e.g., temperature-resistent andless sensitive to moisture and they do not stick togetherin storage containers even after prolonged storage.- 1 -
