Abstract of the DisclosureThe present invention relates to a processwhich serves especially the sterilization anddisposal of infectious materials used, forexample, in connection with various kinds ofhospital waste but may also be present in theform of infected food and the like. Said processincludes a vacuum-steam sterilization, thematerials, as far as wet waste, for examplespoiled blood, residues from the operatingtheatres of hospitals, pathological departmentsis concerned, being exposed to a homogenizationof the sterilized substance followed by dryingwhereas generally, homogenization is not necessarywith dry infectious materials.For the latter materials it is particularly ad-vantageous to perform the process by using asterilizer which, mounted on a vehicle and thelike truck, makes it possible to combine infectiousmaterials used at different places and tosterilize same in said sterilizator serving ascontainer and being connected to a suitable steam-vacuum-source.
