In relation to an electrically driven street vehicle based on a two-wheeled vehicle comprising a frame, an electric energy source and an electric drive motor which acts on at least one wheel, it is proposed that adequate range, satisfactory handling and a large transportation capacity can be achieved at favourable cost if the energy source (20) and the drive motor (21) are arranged on an additional carriage (19). This carriage is connected on one side to the frame (2) of the two-wheeled vehicle (1) via a pendulum joint (13) whose axis (14) extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the frame.
