Mosaic parquet table and method of producing the same

The mosaic parquet plate consists of a walked-on layer composed of a multiplicity of wooden blocks, and of a backing which holds the individual wooden blocks together. The use of a polyvinyl alcohol film as backing is particularly advantageous. The film is fixed to the underside of the wooden blocks by adhesive bonding. The mosaic parquet plate can be worked and processed as a unit without problems.
