CIRCUIT FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF REFERENCE DATA IN DIGITAL SYSTEMS

This circuit allows the input of reference data into digital systems in which a series of digital values is compared with the reference data to obtain switching signals for the digital system. It comprises a block (1) which includes a digital-to-analog converter (5) receiving the series of digital values and controlled by an internal reference electrical quantity, preferably a reference voltage (UR). The reference data is derived, as analog values, from the reference values, in switching means (2), preferably by voltage division. The reference data thus obtained are then compared to the analog output of the converter by comparators (K0, K1, K2, Kn) located in block (1). By using the same reference values for the analog output signal of the converter (5) and producing the reference data, detection of disturbance phenomena, such as drift and the like, is obtained. The circuit according to the invention is particularly suitable for establishing switching signals in digital ignition systems of combustion machines.
