The invention relates to a method and device for the manufacture of leaf springs made of fibre-reinforced material in the form of laminates, as well as leaf springs manufactured in such a manner. By means of the invention, the traditional production methods, which are protracted and complicated by the extensive manual tasks, are intended to be simplified. To this end, leaf springs (1a, 1b, 1c) are constructed of a plurality of at least partially hardened plates, forming individual laminate layers, e.g. laminate plates (2), between each of which is provided an adhesive layer (3, 2c, 2e). Thin, hardened laminate plates are preferably used as the plates; pre-preg layers as well as adhesive films can be used as the adhesive layers. Damping layers (4), e.g. of elastic-rubber material, can also be integrated in the layer arrangement. With a method according to the invention, leaf springs can be produced with good reproducibility in terms of their spring characteristics. IMAGE
