A security container to be fixed and sealed in a wall including a body (1) for receiving the valuables to be protected formed by a cylindrical tube having a bottom (2) and open at its other end, the outer diameter of the body (1) being at most equal to that of the cylindrical housing in a wall in which it is placed, with a lockable lid (6) engageable in the open end of the cylindrical body and means (5) provided for anchoring the container in the wall, characterized in that the outer diameter of the body (1) corresponds to that of the drill or bit mounted on the portable tool used for piercing the housing in the wall already constructed and in that the means for anchorage in the wall are formed by a deformable anchorage piece (5) associated with the container and adapted for providing anchorage thereof in the wall by its deformation after engagement thereof in said housing.
