摘要

The mixt. is filtered through a two stage carbon filter from which the carbon is regenerated in heated reactor where filtered impurities are burnt off. The mixt. is now filtered through a multi-stage system of filters in motion, rough filteration is effected through packed carbon in bulk obtd. from processing organic rubbish. The carbon is treated to enhance adsorption and adherance. Rough filters(114) pref. employ carbon which is non-activated while subsequent filters contain a proportion of activated carbon. Rouge and fine filters(114,116) for the above process are also claimed.
