METHOD FOR CULTIVATION OF BASIDIOMYCETES BELONGING TO THE GENUS CORIOCUS POLYPORA-CEAE

Coriolus was cultivated on a medium containing 7.5-15% glucose and yeast extract at 1/3-1/15 of the glucose at 25±3≦̸C. Thus, the fungus was cultured at 25≦̸C -28≦̸C for 28 days on a medium containing 12.5% glucose and 1.5% yeast entract. The mycelia yield was 42.9 g/l, vs. 1.59g/l obtained on a medium containing 10-15% glucose and yeast extract at 1/6 - 1/10 of the glucose is desirable for the highest yield. Phosphor, manganese, magnesium, iron and vitamins also can be added in the medium.
