2-aryl ether derivatives and insecticidal preparation with a thioether derivatives, acaricidal agent

The title compds. (I; Ar = allyl; R = Me or Et; B = II or III; Z = O, S, carbonyl or methylene; R1 = halo or O-M; M = H or alkali metal), useful as insecticidal and acaricidal products, were prepd. by the reaction of ArCH3RCCH2A and BCH2D. Thus, 15.0 g NaOH, 6.0 g 2-(4- chlorophenyl)-2-methylpropylalcohol and 8.1 g 3-(4-methylmethoxy) benzylchloride were reacted with 1.1 g tetrabutylammoniumbromide at 80C and extracted with toluene to give 9.9 g 3-(4-methylphenoxy) benzyl 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-methylpropylether.
