Silding clasp closure comprises a continuous row of spaced coupling elements mouldel from thermoplastic material into a head, and two legs. Connection parts join the coupling elements between the legs. Connecting yarns extend along the length of the coupling elements, and each yarn runs parallel to the connection parts on the front side of the legs. The closure tape has a row of moulded spaced coupling elements with the required deg. of flexibility, but offering shock-free movement for the sliding clasp when the coupling elements enter the y-shaped guide channel in the clasp.
