False-twisting device on a texturing machine for textile threads

The false-twisting device consists of two axis-parallel drive rollers (15', 16') rotatable about their axis, with a small rotary tube (18) held in tangential contact in the gusset between them. During operation, the wharves (19, 20) of the drive rollers bear against a tangential drive belt (2) constantly rotating in the same direction. The shafts of the drive rollers are arranged on a carrier plate (11) which is pivotable about an axis (10) parallel to the roller axes. The pivot axis (10) is arranged on the first arm (8) of an angle lever which is rotatable about a further axis (7) parallel to the roller axes. The axis of rotation (7) is mounted on a carrier (5) which can be fastened to a projection (3') of a mounting part (3) connected fixedly to the machine stand. In two different positions of the carrier (5) and of the second arm (8') of the angle lever, a tension spring (31) can be inserted between the latter and the mounting part (3), by means of which tension spring the wharves (19, 20) can be selectively pressed against one side of the drive belt or the other.
