For the production of spherical particles having diameters between 50 and 2500 mu m and a narrow particle size spectrum from two liquid components containing substances which react spontaneously with one another, the components, which are caused to oscillate in phase and at the same frequency by vibration, are fed to separate nozzles which are oriented so that the two droplet jets strike one another at an angle of 10 to 120 DEG .
