In a roadway support system with backfilling, in particular for coal mines, which consists of several reinforced-concrete segments, the individual reinforced-concrete segments are connected to one another in the longitudinal direction in a firm and non-displaceable manner. The backfilling consists of a compressible lightweight concrete. In the longitudinal direction at the edges, the reinforced-concrete segment has webs which serve to fasten the segments to one another. According to the invention, the segments are produced underground, while only the solids for producing the segments are transported, preferably in pipelines.
