A device is described for the exact adjustment of the seating position and for the exact holding of the adjusted camera tube of a television camera, by means of which the so-called seating position is easily adjustable and can then easily be fixed into a constant position, the constant distance, important for the focus to be kept, experiencing no change especially due to temperature influences etc. According to Figure 1 this is achieved according to the invention in that the yoke pick-up together with the deflector and the camera tube are movably mounted as a movable part in a cylindrical guide of a mounting flange and a locking screw is provided in the yoke pick-up and engages through a longitudinal hole, which is arranged parallel to the direction of adjustment in the mounting flange. A cam in the mounting flange engages with its tappet in a longitudinal hole arranged at right angles to the direction of adjustment of the yoke pick-up and the clamping device comprises a camera tube centring unit having clamping jaws, a conical ring and clamping screws. The invention permits easy adjustment and secure and firm holding of the camera tube with regard to optimal adjustment of seating position. In particular a reduction in cost and an increase in the ease of servicing of the television camera are also achieved. IMAGE
