The advantages of the cross-wall construction method are utilised in high buildings with greatly divided facades and sometimes irregular plans by arranging, in order to terminate the cross-walls, bodies which project beyond the wall ends of the cross-walls and are non-positively connected to the cross-walls. The bodies serving to terminate the cross-walls terminate one or more cross-walls at the facade. The bodies can, seen in plan and also in vertical section, be angled and/or curved and can be designed to differ from one another in any desired manner.
