In the floor with floor heating and in a method for laying such a floor, pipe holders, to be attached in a substantially fixed manner, are to be fixed to the underfloor with interposition of a covering foil. Special base mats can be avoided, which also promotes heat flow in the desired direction, namely to the upper floor. This is additionally promoted, if desired, by the use of a highly reflective covering foil. The pipe holders are preferably attached in pairs to a floor fixing part. The lateral spacing of these pipe holders is in this case matched to the smallest laying spacing for the pipes. The floor fixing part also serves as a lateral spacer for adjacent floor fixing parts. The arrangement of pipe holders on the floor fixing part is provided such that equal spacings of respectively adjacent pipe holders result with floor fixing parts arranged next to one another. Provided at least laterally next to the pipe holders are connection points for connection to a floor fixing part, in particular a laterally adjacent floor fixing part.
