PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying method of a floor heating mat which makes it easy to install floor heating afterward in an existing house. SOLUTION: A floor heating mat 3 is equipped with a mat plate 15, a hot-water pipe 13 and a radiator sheet 11. The floor heating mat 3 is put and fixed on the lower side of a floor 1 between floor joists 5, from under the floor of a house. On the occasion of laying, the end part 3b in the lengthwise direction of the mat 3 is inserted into a gap between the floor 1 and sleepers 7. At this time, the mat 3 is inserted, being deflected in the lengthwise direction.
