A latching device for a switching device having a plurality of individual push-button switches, having a U-shaped installation frame in which the individual push-switches are latched with respect to one another by means of a latching spring acting at right angles to their adjustment direction, with the object of reducing the mutual lateral distance between the individual push-button switches, are arranged as a spring holder for the components which are used as latching springs and associated latching plates in the bottom region of the installation frame, hold the respective latching springs between them, and first projections of each latching plate engage with latching studs, in which the latching studs are formed on the shafts of the individual push-button switches.
