A glass composition is formed from a mixture comprising one or a plurality of natural mineral zeolites and has a melting point in the range of from about 1000o to about 1500oC. The glass compositions of this invention can be formed into various glass articles, including flat glass, glass containers, glass fiber and glass foam.
