Pure colour lighting system - uses fluorescent or gas discharge tube as coloured source and correction filter

The equipment supplies a light of pure colour, and comprises a coloured light source working with a correction filter. The source can be coloured fluorescent tube or a gas-discharge tube. The filter can be of coloured or tinted material, resistant to light and transparent or diffuse in appearance, typically of plastics. The corrected light can be a pure colour, free of any other undesirable emission, near to but different from the colour emitted by the source. The equipment is particularly for lighting photographic laboratories, and allows the colour to be changed as desired.
