The structure comprises two or more abutting transverse rows of elements parallel to each other, each element connected to an element in the other row. Between the opposite ends of two interconnected elements there is an X-sectioned connecting unit (29). Two of its arms (33) are set lengthways, each fastened to one element, while the other two arms (36, 37) are set crossways, in the element connecting plane.
