The container initially hs a fluid tight bottom and is filled with milk. After formation of the curd a tool with pointed needles is lowered to perforated the bottom for drainage of the serum into a lower chamber. The tool is then withdrawn. A second tool with blades which lie adjacent the wall of container is raised, lowered and rotated to separate the curd from the wall and then withdrawn. spoons are then inserted and caused to move.
