The air conditioning and heating installation includes a source of heat (1) and a cooling unit (2). Two separate circuits (4, 5) link these components with a low pressure turbine (3) and heat exchangers (11, 12) in a house (10). Water circulating in the heating circuit is heated by the sun's rays (23) and pumped around by a pump (6). A three way valve (8) allows all or part of this hot water to pass through the heat exchanger (11) to heat the house. The cooling circuit is similar with a pump (7) and valve (9), and an evaporation unit providing the cooling. As the water flows through the turbine (3) energy provided by the water is used to drive an electric generator (17). Water derived from the turbine (15) provides a supply of soft water for the occupants of the house.
