Controlling output temp. of electrically heated through-flow water heater - deriving required heating power from through-flow channel input and output temperatures, instantaneous heating power, throughput, and defined output temp.
Controlling output temp. of electrically heated through-flow water heater - deriving required heating power from through-flow channel input and output temperatures, instantaneous heating power, throughput, and defined output temp.
The method of controlling the output temperature of the water heater involves using temp. sensors (3,6) at the input and output of a throughflow channel(5), a throughput sensor (4) and a controller (12). The controller derives the required heating power from the throughput, input and output temp., instantaneous heating power and defined output temp. and feeds the required heating power to the heating body. A measurement error in the throughput sensor is detected automatically, stored and taken into account during subsequent adjustment of the instantaneous heating power. It is finally stored again self-adaptively. ADVANTAGE - Throughput meter errors are eliminated and water heated to required temp. is provided very quickly.
