摘要
New catalysts comprise (a) 100 pts. wt. of an alumina support, (b) 0.05-0.6 (pref.0.1-0.5) pts. wt. of a Pt-group metal, (c) 0.005-5 (pref. 0.05-3) pts. wt. of Bi, (d) 0.005-5 (pref. 0.05-3) pts. wt. of Cr, Mo or Mn, and (e) 0.1-10 pts. wt. halogen. Component (b) is pref. Pt, Ir or Rh and component (d) is pref. Cr or Mn. Reforming and atomizing are pref. effected at 510-600 deg.C and 1-18 kg/square cm with a LHSV of 1-10 and an H2/feed molar ratio of 5-20. The process is pref. effected in a series of at least two mobile-bed reactors, with catalyst from the last reactor being regenerated, reduced and progressively recycled to the 1st reactor. The void vol. in each of the reactors is pref. 7% or less. The catalysts are esp. useful for continuous mobile-bed reforming and atomizing operations. They have high stability and selectivity under high-severity conditions (e.g. reforming to 102 RON clear).
