Side pleated sterilisable sachet for surgical product - has side pleat flaps for easy opening without contaminating product

A sterilisable sachet in which surgical instruments, dressings etc. are packed prior to autoclaving etc. and in which they are subsequently stored. The sachet is of the tubular, side-pleat type, i.e. the contents sit on a flat base of the sachet and the side pleats overlap the top of the contents but do not meet. The gap between side pleats is closed by a window of transparent plastic sheet welded to the pleat overlaps. Each side pleat overlap now ends with a longitudinal, outwardly bent flap. When the window has been removed, the flaps can be gripped and pulled apart to release the contents without danger of touching and contaminating the sterile contents.
