Sea wave energy converter - uses two floats at ends of arm pivoted to ballast to create see-saw motion for rotational movement conversion

A long arm, with floats at either end, has pivoted at the centre of the arm a rod supporting a heavy ballast weight. At the pivot a large diameter toothed wheel fixed to the arm drives a smaller toothed wheel fixed to the ballast rod. When the arm is perpendicular to the wavefront, one float will be at a wave peak while the other is in a wave trough. This imparts a see-saw motion to the arm which is translated to rotary motion by the gears, allowing electricity generation using rotary generators. Attached to the ballast rod is a cable fixed to the sea bed to allow the float to rise and fall with the tide while maintaining its location in the sea.
