Air lock for public building door - ensures germ free atmosphere, with air curtain at one end incorporating ultraviolet radiators

The seal around a doorway to produce a germ free atmosphere, is intended for buildings shared by hospital patients and the public. A chamber forming an air lock, has a door at one end, and an air curtain at the other end. Mounted at top and bottom of the sides of the chamber from front to rear, are rows of ultra violet radiators. Underneath is a duct terminating in a discharge channel at floor level for a pulsed air supply for the air curtain. Above is a collector duct connected to an extraction fan.
