The building block (1) has a regular truncated pyramid shape with the top and bottom surfaces square, while a second block (4) is a prism of identical height to the first block but its parallel bases are right angle rectangles. The lateral faces joining the parallel faces of both blocks are identical. The parallel faces of the second block type have their longest side identical to the square side of the large base of the first block type while the width of the bases is the same as the square side of the small base of the first block type.
