Compsns. that control the diurnal/nocturnal rhythms of human beings comprise three mixts., the first reinforces the rhythm and acts as a tonic and stimulant, the second slows the biological rhythm and stimulates the sexual sphere, and the third calms the rhythm. The first mixt. contains an alkaloid, an analeptic, a psycho-active agent, and a vitamin. The second mixt. contains a tranquilliser and an anti-histamine. By controlling the biological rhythms, the compsns. are useful in correcting sexual disorders of psychosomatic origin, such as nervousness, frigidity, and other neurotic symptoms connected with sex.
