The solar panel is fitted below the window of a building and consists of a mounting frame (2) housing an insulating panel (3) with spacing ribs (6) against which rests a copper absorber (4). The panel is covered by a glass or plastics screen (5). The space between the absorber and the insulating panel is ventilated through upper and lower connections (8'). The connections are connected directly to air ducts (8) passing into the space and form an integral convection circuit.
